Congratulations to Carly and Drystan who were married a few weeks ago at St Paul''s church in Wokingham and continued their celebrations at the wonderful Rivervale Barn.
Now we arrived in the morning to, shall we say, a slightly tense (and slightly poorly) bride as unfortunately this was the day that the first of the big storms hit us in Hampshire and Surrey. After a few hiccups though and a little bit of traffic, Carly arrived at the church looking beautiful and you could visable see her relax as she saw Drystan for the first time. Drystan also looked fabulous in his military uniform and both were very pleased to see thier dog Bruce as he came down the aisle to deliver the rings. Carly is a very proud member of the Military Wives Choirs of Sandhurst and the ladies didn't dissappoint as they peformed for the guests while the couple signed the register.
After an intersting journey from the church to Rivervale avoiding falling trees(!), Carly, Drystan and their guests were able to enjoy the comfort and hospitality of Rivervale and we made use of the barn and also the honeymoon cottage for some great shots of them and their guests.
The barn (dressed by Cherubs) looked stunning and after some very funny speeches the guests were able to hit the dancefloor with the great band, Groovestone. We wish Carly and Drystan (and Bruce!) all the best for their future together. Here are a few images from their day:-
