Congratulations to Roxanne and Phillip who were married at Highfield Park a few weeks ago.
It was great to be back for our first wedding of 2014 and after having a pre-wedding shoot a few weeks before, we knew that the excitment was building for Roxanne and Phillip. By booking a January wedding Roxanne was hoping for a wonderful crisp winter's day and for the most part she got it with lots of sunshine to start.
When we got to the church, the boys were in a very playful mood and their 'blue steel' pose was hilarious! The wonderful atmosphere continued through the ceremony (although there was less blue steel!) and after a quick confetti tunnel, we made our way over to Highfield Park.
By this time the wind had really picked up, although we quite liked the way it kept catching Roxanne's dress - a modern day bridal Marilyn Monroe. The rain held off just long enough for us to finish outside and we managed to get the Hollywood kiss in just in time. With the inside of Highfield being just as beautiful as the outside, we took shelter and used the magnificent staircase for a few more beautiful shots.
Roxanne and Phillip are such a wonderful couple and we wish them all the best for their future together.
