Congratulations to Luke and Sophie who were married a few weeks ago at the wonderful Cain Manor in Churt.
It was great to be back with Luke and Sophie having had a pre-wedding shoot with them a few weeks previously. If you are a regular fan of our blog you will know that I mentioned Luke had injured himself snowboarding and unfortunately the injury had resurfaced resulting in an operation a few weeks before the wedding. This meant that he had to have a boot on for the big day but also that he was able to fashion a great walking cane using an eight ball which was a lovely touch.
Sophie had decided to go for a 1920's look and she certainly pulled it off, she looked absolutely incredible. With her dark hair, red lips and beautiful headband she could have been taken straight from a movie.
Luke and Sophie had decided to have an outside ceremony and they couldn't have had a better day for it! With the sun shining, endless blue skies and happy guests it was absolutely perfect. They are such a loving couple and it was very clear how much in love they were, Luke was blown away with just how beautiful his bride looked.
Now these two are very comfortable in front of the camera. Having a mother who is a photographer, Sophie has obviously had her fair share of time in front of the camera and it was really great to use the wonderful grounds of Cain Manor.
We moved inside for the wedding breakfast and the room looked fantastic with the 1920's styling still evident. The speeches were great, but it seemed that Luke was getting it from all side with Sophie's dad incorporating some embarrassing stories of Luke into his own speech, as well as his two brothers letting on more in their joint best men's speech! I think he was quite glad when it was over.
Having had such a great day, their guests were all in great spirits going into the evening and there was lots of fun and laughter. We ended our evening with them with photo booth and we were able to use the outside ceremony space once more for lots of fun shots. Their guests certainly enjoyed it and they have officially broken all previous photo booth records!
Luke and Sophie are a wonderful couple and we truly had an amazing day with them and thier family and friends. We would like to wish them all the best for their future together.
