The Bush Hotel wedding photography - Aaron and Jess

Congratulations to Aaron and Jess who were married a few weeks ago at the Farnham United Reformed Church and continued their celebrations at The Bush Hotel.

Well what an exciting day this was. To start with we had a great International wedding having an American Groom marrying his English rose as well as this happening in Farnham on the day of the carnival! So having flown in only a few weeks before I think Aaron was a bit overwhelmed that not only was it his wedding day in the centre of Farnham, but as we met him outside the church a whole host of people were passing in fancy dress, including Mr Subway! It made for some fantastic pictures though. All of his groomsmen had also flown in from America so there was lots of laughter as they waited for the bride to arrive.

As it was she was only a few yards away, up the stairs in the church getting ready. As a member of the church, Jess and her 10 bridesmaids (yes 10!) stayed nice and close so we had no worries about her getting stuck in traffic!

The ceremony was beautiful and after a few drinks at the church with their guests and church members, we headed off to The Bush. Now we obviously knew it was the carnival before the big day and we were going to try and arrange to get them on a float, however, the parade just happened to co-incide with the wedding breakfast. Not to be put off, we kept an eye on the parade and when the couple were in between courses, we whisked them out and even found Minnie Mouse in a veil and got them dancing with one of the pom pom troups! Who needs Disneyland!

It was a very fun day and we wish them all the best for their future in America. They are having another blessing and party in America on Saturday and we hope it goes as well as the first one - although I'm not sure they will be dancing in the street this time!
