Congratulations to Rebecca and Matt who were married last week at St James' Church, Finchampstead and continued their celebrations at the beautiful Rivervale Barn.
We started the day with Becks at her parents house in Finchampstead and although it was a little grey outside, the atmosphere in the house certainly didn't match it. With her parents, bridesmaids and a little later her three brothers the relaxed family feel to this wedding was evident straight away and it was lovely to see.
When Becks was ready she looked absolutely stunning and was complimented by her two lovely bridesmaids.
We arrived at the church to find the boys who were all in great spirits and Matt looked especially relaxed. We were lucky enough to have two of the boys in military dress, the best man and also Matt's brother who even had a sword!
After a lovely ceremony, including a blessing performed by a family friend, we headed over to Rivervale and unfortunately the weather still wasn't on our side. This didn't stop our bride and groom wanting to explore the gardens and so off we went with umbrellas in hand. I have to say it was absolutely freezing (and raining!) and as well as the bride and groom shots in the garden, the couple also decided to have thier family shots in the courtyard so we were trying very hard to make sure Becks didn't turn blue. She was an absolute star and we even had to get them to stop breathing while we took the shots so that we didn't see their breath!
This was the way the whole day went with Becks and Matt making the most of every second and enjoying themselves thouroughly. After some very funny speeches and the cutting of the cake (with the sword!) we moved on to the evening entertainment and, of course, photo booth! It was so much fun and all of the guests had a wonderful time.
We had a great day with Becks and Matt and it was a perfect way to start off our 2013 season. We wish them both all the best for their future together.
