The Elvetham - Wedding photography - Alexandra and Phil

Congratulations to Alexandra and Phil who were married recently at St George's Church, Badshot Lea and continued their celebrations at The Elvetham, Fleet.

Well for those of you who follow our blog a lot will know from her pre-wedding shoot blog, that Alexandra has been one of our closest followers, so I am delighted that she finally has her own wedding blog!

We met Alex and her bridemaids at her house and, although a little cosy for us all, hair and makeup artist Natasha Wiggins, videographer Bill from Hampshire Wedding Videographers were all ready to make Alex and Phil's day their most memorable day ever.

When the girls had all got ready it was only a short drive to the end of the road(!) to get to the church and Alex looked absolutely stunning. We knew as soon as Phil saw her, he was going to be blown away which of course he was.

After a lovely ceremony we headed off the the magnificent Elvetham Hotel for the wedding reception and thankfully the weather was absolutely glorious and we had a fabulous time capturing the family shots and then we went off to explore the vast grounds of The Elvetham for the bride and groom shots. Alex and Phil are such a great couple and we knew how important these shots were, especially to Alex who was very excited and we could have spent hours with them!

Luckily for their guests, who were no doubt hungry by this point, we returned their bride and groom in time for the speeches which were brilliant and we saw a few images of Phil which were very amusing! Thankfully for him, I have decided not to include any on the blog - sorry to everyone else.

Now, as I mentioned Alex is a keen follower of our blog and knows that as well as taking the beautiful bride and groom shots which we love, we also love fun shots, so jumping on the bed it was! Not to be outdone though, Phil was also keen on having his own style of jumping on the bed shot which was quite simply brilliant!

After the first dance, we finished our evening with Phil and Alex by taking them outside for a few evening shots with the hotel looking beautiful all lit up. I think it's safe to say that Alex loved her photos and was eager to have as many as she could before dancing the night away and her new husband Phil was an absolute star and, as all husbands should, he gave her everything that she wanted to make her day just perfect.

We are so glad to have been part of Alex and Phil's day and to have captured so many memories for them to cherise for years to come. We wish them all the best for their future together.

Here are some of their images from the day:-
