Congratulations to Sam and Graham who were married recently at the Holy Trinity Church in Rudgwick and continued their celebrations at Russets in Chiddingfold.
We started the day at Russets where Sam and her four bridesmaids were getting ready. There was lots going on and it was lovely to see the venue transform as everything was brought in to make Sam and Graham's day perfect. The girls were in great spirits and we even had some poses inspired by the burlesque hen weekend which I'm wishing i went on!
When Sam was ready she made her entrance to a waiting crowd downstairs and i'm not sure there was a dry eye in the house, she looked absolutely breathtaking! The dress was amazing and was complimented by the gorgeous bridesmaids in their dresses as we got some quick shots before we left for the church.
The ceremony was beautiful and I'm not sure they stopped smiling the whole way through, it was really lovely to see. A highlight for us when we left the church, was the waiting fire engine and crew that we just had to take a picture of. Graham is a firefighter and his colleagues had popped along for the ceremony and in true hero style were called away just after this picture was taken!
It was then onto Russets to take full advantage of the beautiful weather and we certainly did. After exploring the grounds (and yes finding a trampoline!) all of the guests headed inside and had some wonderful food courtesy of Just Jane Caterers. The speeches were great, Graham's had us in stitches!!
Despite the weather forecast bringing us doom and gloom, the day was quite the opposite and Sam, Graham and their guests were able to enjoy the sunshine and the garden games laid on by the couple. The football got very competitive as did Jenga!
It truly was a wonderful day with a wonderful couple and we wish them all the best for their future together. We would also like to thank Kate and Tim, the owners of Russets for all of their help on the day. It is such a perfect venue and we hope to be back very soon. Here are a few images from the day:-
